Composition Conversations:
Weekly gatherings to discuss everyday issues of teaching Composition. Comp Conversations serves as the primary avenue to provide support for new faculty and faculty seeking to improve their Composition courses. These meetings are open to all faculty that teach or are interested in Composition. We also welcome English Graduate Students and undergraduates interested in learning more about the field of Composition and Rhetoric.
- Meets every Wednesday from 12-12:50pm in LY 203
Composition Committee:
This Committee carries out the major work of developing the Composition Program–e.g. curricular revisions, considering new courses, and planning events.
- Meets the last Thursday of the month from 11:00-11:50 am in LY 130
Composition, Rhetoric, and Literacy Studies (CRLS) Reading Group & Blog:
The CRG is a space to discuss on-going theoretical and scholarly issues in the field of Composition and Rhetoric. The CRLS Reading GroupĀ and the CRLS blog are be spaces to come together and reflect, vent, theorize, and recharge.
- Meets the 2nd Thursday of the month from 11-11:50 am in LY 130
Composition Conference for First-Year Student Writers Committee (Composition Conference Committee):
This Committee is responsible for planning the annual Composition Conference.
